October 28, 2010 - Speech Evaluation
1.
Speaker: Chelsea
Topic: Plastic Surgery
Comments:
The slides are clear and right to the points, which really help the audience to understand what she's talking about. Moreover, the speaker's voice varies appropriately throughout her presentation to put stress on. However, perhaps the conclusion or the end of the speech could be more complete and stronger. In sum, this is an enjoyable speech. Even though this kind of topic is a normal environmental issue, the speaker still inform us about something appealing that we do not know.

2.
Speakers: Sara and Rita
Topic: Mini Plastic Surgery
Comments:
Through out the speech, there are many clear illustrations given to the audience, which are truely helpful to our comprehension. The speakers, however, might try to deliver what they would like to say in a more relaxing way, since we the audience can feel their tense while listening. Moreover, they could present the speech more vividly--with vocal variety, for example. Overall, this is a decent speech; however, in my opinion, it could be more like a "lecture" that contains much interesting information. To improve this, perhaps the speakers could show to the listeners more passion for their speech.
